Home visits in Rugby

Rugby is around 40 minutes from my base in Northampton, so it sits well within the area I cover for home visits. I visit people in their own homes, and in care homes and nursing homes, in Rugby and nearby places including Dunchurch, Hillmorton and the villages around Rugby.

Rugby is a short journey along the A428 from Northampton, past Crick and the western edge of Northamptonshire.

What I can help with

• Neurological rehabilitation, brain injury, stroke, MS, Parkinson’s, spinal cord injury and FND
• Falls prevention and frailty, balance, strength and confidence
• Rehabilitation after hospital or surgery, including hip and knee replacement
• Care and nursing home physiotherapy, with a dementia-aware approach
• Balance and vestibular rehabilitation, for dizziness and unsteadiness
• Mobility and equipment assessment, walking aids, transfers and home safety

Coming home from hospital

Many people I see have recently come home from University Hospital Coventry or the Hospital of St Cross in Rugby, or have finished their NHS therapy and want to keep improving. Rehabilitation at home lets you practise stairs, transfers and walking in the place where you need them.
