How neurological rehabilitation works
Neurological physiotherapy helps you rebuild movement, balance and confidence after the brain or nervous system has been affected. Progress depends on regular, focused practice of the things that matter to you, so every plan is built around your own goals.
- A detailed assessment of movement, strength, balance, walking and how you manage everyday tasks
- Clear, shared goals, agreed with you and, if you wish, your family or carers
- Hands-on treatment and exercise to improve movement, strength and control
- Balance and vestibular rehabilitation for dizziness and unsteadiness
- Walking and gait training, including walking aid and equipment checks
- A home exercise programme that you, your family or carers can follow between sessions

Referrals from case managers welcome
I accept referrals from case managers for neurological and brain injury rehabilitation, and can see clients at home, in a care home or in a nursing home anywhere in Northamptonshire.

Rehabilitation at home, in a care home or nursing home, so practice happens in the setting where the client needs to move well.
Working with the team
Clear goals and exercise advice shared with family, carers and care staff, so rehabilitation continues between sessions.

NHS and private experience, with a particular focus on neurological rehabilitation, balance and dizziness. Member of ACPIVR.

Do you treat people after a brain injury?
Yes. I provide physiotherapy for people recovering after a brain injury, with treatment focused on movement, balance, walking and everyday independence.
Can you come to our home, care home or nursing home?
Yes. I see neurological patients at home, in care homes and in nursing homes, as well as at the clinic. See home visits.
Do you accept referrals from case managers?
Yes. Case managers can call 07466 072856 or send an enquiry to discuss a client.
Can a family member get in touch for someone else?
Yes. Many enquiries come from a partner, son, daughter or carer. It helps if they can be there for the first appointment.
